This year British cities are again awash with German markets, and amongst the stalls of pretty wooden toys, strings of salamis and mulled wine, lurk a danger. The worst danger of the deadliest kind. CANDIED NUTS.

You read it correctly, candied nuts. Nuts that are covered in candy, the sweetest and stickiest of all nut coatings. I managed to purchase a big bag of mixed nuts over the weekend and I've been putting them through their paces.

My verdict? These are the nuts of the faker, of the charleton. These nuts stick and stack by merely clasping them together. These are the nut balancers equivalent of EPO.

Any other nut stack photos that bear any traces of nut candy will be removed from the pool and the poster will be banned from the group.

So, what can you do? Fortunately, these so called German Markets are easily identifiable. Here is how to spot the one in Leeds:

By all means visit these places, sample their meaty sausages, pickles and mustards, but please, stay away from the Candied Nut stall.

That is all.
